I Love Country Music

I love how the songs always tell a story. And that the stories, even though they maybe sad at times- they are real life stories. They're things that can and do really happen. The feelings in the songs are raw and real. I've been listening to a lot of music the past few days. Mostly Christmas music but this morning was an all country morning.

This lyrics in this song really captured the way I feel about the current situation in my love life. Its Forever Road by Darius Rucker:

I heard every word you said
And trying hard to understand
Exactly what it is, you need, from me
Baby I apologize
I never meant to make you cry
But there ain’t no doubt, we can work it out yeah
Cuz I’m gonna be around

Don’t worry baby
I ain’t no maybe
Rain or Shine
This Love of mine is for you
Let my arms remind youI’ll always be beside you
Holdin’ on until this ride is through
So away we go, down that forever road

Baby as our lives unfold
There’s no telling where we’ll go
But as far as I can see, it’ll be you and me
Just the way it’s supposed to be

Don’t worry baby
I ain’t no maybe
Rain or Shine
This Love of mine is for you
Let my arms remind youI’ll always be beside you
Holdin’ on until this ride is through
So away we go, down that forever road

It ain’t gonna be easy
We’ll both make big mistakes
But if you love me, trust me
We’ve got what it takes
Now…

Don’t worry baby
I ain’t no maybe
Rain or Shine
This Love of mine is for you
Yeah, Let my arms remind you
I’ll always be beside you
Holdin’ on until this ride is through
So away we go, down that forever road
Down that forever road
Away we go

On a much happier country music note, there are only 183 days until the next BamaJam Music Festival! Three glorious summer days filled with country music.

I went last year and I loved. Although I know that the fact that I was with my boyfriend helped to rocket the concert onto the list of "Best Days Ever", the music was still fantastic. I mean ALAN JACKSON and KID ROCK were there, how could it not be amazing? My sister and I are hopeing to make a go at it again this June provided we can go with two other chicas who want to split a hotel and gas with us.

Here's the link if you want to check it out and watch excitedly for updates to the line up:

Now, back to my counry music!
