Music: A bit of wedding planning

As Mr. Groom used to work as a DJ he has taken it upon himself to write out a playlist for our DJ. Until that list gets finalized I want to share with you the songs we've picked as our special songs:

Bridal Party Entrance: Jackson by Johnny Cash

Our First Dance: You Belong to Me- Duprees  (One of our two songs. We hope  to dance to "Amazed" by Lonestar later in the night. )

Father Daughter  Dance: TBD

Mother Son Dance: Some Ozzy Osbourne somg I can't remember the name of

(Background Music) Bouquet Toss: This One's for the Girls- Martina Mcbride

(Background Music)  Garter Toss: I Just Can't Help Myself- Five Tops

Anniversary Dance: Remember When by Alan Jackson

Last Slow Song of the Night: Everything I do, I do it for you- Bryan Adams

Last Song of the Night: Please Come Home for Christmas- The Eagles

Any suggestions for the Father Daughter Dance? What did you/will you dance to?

  1. I loved picking out my wedding music! So much fun. My favorite Father/Daughter dances are I Loved Her First by Heartland and Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. I also like Sunrise Sunset from Fiddler on the Roof but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one.

Let me know when you decide!

Stopping by from SITS and I'm your newest follower.

  3. Great music choices! We did butterfly kisses as well. I know it's probably not the most creative choice but, heck, I just love the song. Another newer one that I love is Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman.

I also love Tony Bennett's The Way You Look Tonight.
